Acrylathin

Other Names: Acrylic-Based Polymer Thinner
Basic Properties: Thinner, Rheology Modifier, Filtration Control
Acrylathin is an acrylic-based polymer used in water-based drilling fluids to reduce viscosity and improve flow characteristics. It is especially effective in high-performance and low-solids systems where precise rheology control is critical.
As a thinning agent, Acrylathin lowers the plastic viscosity and gel strengths of the mud system, improving pumpability and enhancing cuttings removal. It also contributes to filtration control by aiding in the formation of a thin, low-permeability filter cake that helps stabilize the wellbore and reduce fluid loss.
pH Range: 7.0?9.5
Acrylathin is ideal for optimizing drilling fluid performance by reducing excess viscosity, improving circulation, and maintaining wellbore stability under a wide range of conditions.
