DUO-VIS is a high-molecular-weight biopolymer viscosifier designed to increase the viscosity of drilling fluids, improve suspension properties, and reduce fluid loss in water-based drilling systems. It is particularly effective in low-solids drilling operations, where enhanced suspension properties are critical.
As a viscosity enhancer, DUO-VIS improves gel strength and shear-thinning behavior, ensuring that cuttings remain suspended while allowing for easy fluid flow.
Additionally, DUO-VIS helps reduce filtrate loss, forming a thin, low-permeability filter cake that prevents fluid invasion into permeable formations.
pH: DUO-VIS operates in a pH range of 6.5 to 9.5, making it compatible with most water-based drilling fluids.
