Grouts
Sinclair supplies consistently high quality WYO-BEN and CETCO bentonites and grout products. Bentonite is ideal for use in well monitoring because when hydrated, it swells to many times its original size to produce a water impermeable seal in the borehole.
Enviroplug No.8 and No.16 Sealants
Enviroplug is a high-swelling, chemically-unaltered granule that absorbs five times its weight of water and swells 12 to 16 times its dry bulk. It is a popular sealant for casing in well completions and it has excellent grounding characteristics.
Enviroplug Medium and Coarse Granules
These high-swelling chemically- unaltered bentonite granules are alternative to pellets and produce a more effective seal than cements. When contacted by water, they form a flexible gel-like substance. The chips fall through standing water and can be poured directly into the Granuleshole.
EnviroplugMedium is screened for uniformity and is more resistant to bridging than tablets. Medium is useful for 3 in. and smaller holes. Coarse is for use in chips can be used immediately above the sand or gravel pack and at the top of the hole for a rigid seal.
